Default Hello

Hi,

My name is Jan.

I've had continual facial pain on the left side of my face ever since the endodondist hit the nerve when he was numbing me for a root canal.

This was Halloween 2007. And I love getting dressed for Halloween.

Also, I have constant burning in the lower jaw and feel as though I still need a root canal. After the tooth was extracted -- it had cracked -- my jaw broke and I have pain in the nerve there but it doesn't bother me that much.

I am on what I feel are too many meds and they are not working.

I'm on effexor, tramadol, and neurotin.

I'm going to be discussing tegretol and also injections. I just want some relief.

Thank you for your input and any suggestions.

I feel less alone now.

Welcome to NT

This is a great place to find.

There were some great posts one time on dental issues. I used our "SEARCH" feature and came up with these.

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/se...rchquery=teeth

You may have to do a lot of digging to find some info that will help you.

There was also some good advice from readers here, so don't give up. Someone with more knowledge of denistry may come along soon.

I sure do you hope you get relief soon.
