Wink New here, warm hellos!

My name is Rebecca and I just wanted to introduce myself. I am not new to mental illness (diagnosed in '02 with Bipolar I), but I am pretty new to forums. So please forgive any newbie mishaps!

A little about me... After being hospitalized five times in seven months last year, I have decided to apply for disability (in TX) upon encouragement from many individuals including my doctor and therapist.

It is so overwhelming and I keep hearing conflicting information about this process. I hope to meet some people here who might help answer some questions for me, who can provide support, and who I might be able to provide support to as well!

Welcome! I'm Bipolar II, with degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis of the spine, and fibromyalgia. It's sad how many health problems some of the people in these forums are dealing with--yet, they're here and trying to help others. I just started doing forums a couple of weeks ago, and I do find them helpful as I ask others about my own struggles and try to help them with theirs. I hope you'll find this experience valuable, too!

Hi Rebecca - welcome to the forums! I hope you'll fiind all you need to know here. There are many great people here who are more than willing to help you find the answers you need.

My name is Lee, and I'm a "Spiney" - I have spinal problems, as well as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, have had breast cancer, and I also am on Social Security Disability so if you have questions, maybe I can REMEMBER and help you out! LOL

Take care and God Bless. Hugs, Lee
