It will turn brownish with sun exposure. http://dermnetnz.org/fungal/pityriasis-versicolor.html Tinea versicolor is treated with sulfurated soaps and/or antifungal liquids applied topically. It can take a year to resolve in some people. Welcome to NeuroTalk. I can't comment on the RSD connection, but please keep an open mind about other causes.
