I am glad I found this forum.

I am 38, female, mom of 3 with mild asthma, GERD, Thyroidectomy 6 years ago, 50 lbs. overweight.

Brief History
2006: LASIK Eye Surgery
2007: Started having ocular migraines. Clear brain MRI. Consult with a Neurologist found nothing.
2008: Headaches started and more eye symptoms. Clear MRI again. Briefly lost feeling in right foot. Another Nerve conduction study. Was told I had a very, very mild pinched nerve in that leg that was basically nothing.
2009: Headaches continued, ocular migraines occurred every 3 months or so.
2010: More headaches and in October, woke up with numbness in my face and no feeling in my left arm. Went to ER. Blood pressure high (from anxiety, they said.) Was admitted. Had ct scan, MRI, MRA, EMG, EKG, EEG. Labs. All normal. Neuro consult. Found nothing. Numbness in my face has continued; literally everyday. Other places are numb but that numbness moves around. Sometimes, a hand. Sometimes, a foot. An ear, etc. But, always my face around my chin/bottom lip. Had physical three weeks ago and thyroid was too low. Upped that med. On Christmas Eve, woke up with no feeling in left arm again and high blood pressure. Another ER visit. Another ct scan and EKG and labs. All normal. Put me on blood pressure meds because of terrible cardiac family history.

It's five days later, and my right ear has been numb for 4 days. Bottom of face is still numb extending to that ear. It feels very strange. But, the doctor looked at my ear a few days ago and said it was clear.

My family thinks it's anxiety and tells me to get off the computer. But, would anxiety cause numbness somewhere every minute of every day? If I knew it wasn't serious, I would sit back and relax. But, I keep wondering if the doctors and tests missed something. Yes, I have officially become a hypochondriac over this.

Thanks so much for any input.
