Unhappy Hi

Hi, my name is Teri. I am a 48 yr. old, married, stay at home mom, even tho my boys are 20 & 21. One moved out this past Oct and the other leaves for basic training with the Army National Guard in 2 weeks.

I have had 8 back surgeries since 1994. I have Spondylolisthesis, Spinal Stenosis, Degenerative Disc Diesease, oh and now they say I have Failed Back Syndrome. I have also had a CABG done 4 years ago this month(left main artery, the widowmaker).

My most recent 3 surgeries were Oct 16 & 23, 2009, total reconstruction of the lumbar L3 to S1 and Dec 2, 2009 for a wash out because infection had set in. Surgery in Oct. left me with severe drop foot of the right foot. My foot is in constant pain. Nerves are constantly mis-firing. My back feels great the best it has felt in over 20 years.

Surgeon is finally sending me to a pain doctor, with a recommendation of implanting a neuro-stimulator for foot pain.

Teri
