I had seen two different pain mgt drs in that period of time with no improvement.
In 2009 I had a big back surgery which involved a laminectomy, decompression, and fusion. (I had a lot of scarring and stenosis from my first surgery in 2003.) In December 2009, I had an IPG nerve stimulator implanted to try to help the neuropathy in my feet that returned after my surgery. One month before I was supposed to return to work, I started having pain in my right SI joint. I've been seeing a pain management doctor since Feb of 2010 and had about 4 SI joint injections which would only last for about a week. Now, just yesterday, I had an RF Nerve Ablation performed and I'm optomistic. (My doctor and I had to fight my insurance company to get it covered). My goals are to be able to do the things that I had enjoyed doing before developing all of this pain. So, I'm hoping to be getting some relief here in a couple of weeks. Well, I'm really happy to have found you and it will be great to share experiences and bounce ideas off of each other.

Glad to be here! Rhonda
Hi Rhonda.

My name is Melody and I come here to learn lots of cool stuff from all the members. My husband and I both have neuropathy (mine is diabetic, and they don't know why he has his case of it). They still don't know.

Anyway, nice to meet you.

Welcome to Neurotalks.

Melody
