Hi all - I am new to the site. I wasn't sure where to ask this question so I hope it's okay that I'm asking it here. I am trying to use the search function and I'd like to search phrases like "nerve fiber density test" or "nerve biopsy" but I cannot find a way to search phrases. If I type the phrase in, it seems to just find words separately. If I use quotes, it doesn't find anything. Does that mean that the phrase isn't there or that the search function doesn't understand quotation marks?
Hope someone can help. Thank you. |

Welcome to NeuroTalk.
We have many links to the tests you need to learn about at our Peripheral Neuropathy forum ... Some are in the link in the stickies at the top of the main forum and there are other links in the Subforum above. example: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...ghlight=biopsy When searching posts on the PN forum, just type in "biopsy".

Thank you Mrs. D. Can you also tell me how to contact a specific member if I have a question that I think he/she can help with?

You can post anywhere you like. If you find a thread with a topic you are interested in, post there. Some of the regulars will read all new posts, even in older threads.
Some members are not active anymore...if you click on their name, look on their profile to see last time online under their name. So some threads that may be old, may have members who have moved on. Once you are not so new... the PM function will be available to you soon, and you can Private message with it. Or you can leave a visitor message, or if that member has an email link here, you can click that. To leave a visitor message click on the ID of the person you need to contact, and use the reply box in their profile. If you use your own, no one will see it...that is a common mistake, that I still make even! ![]() P.S. glenntaj is one of our regular posters and he has much information on biopsies and testing.
