Confused kgirl

I just went through ansurysm surgery on March 24th. It has been five weeks now and everything was going real well until about a week ago. I stay depressed and want to cry all the time. I hate this feeling and its so hard to talk about. I just hope someone who has been throught this can help. I still have headaches and some real bad days. Everyone thinks its all over with and its not. I feel I still have a long way to go. Im not one to just sit around and sometimes I think I do to much. I just found this website and so many of you have been going through. I just want it to go away. It would be nice to talk to someone who does understand.

Default Welcome, brave person!

Going thru THAT and reaching out is great!
When are you supposed to see docs for follow-ups? Have you seen them? Will you see them? Soon?
IF something doesn't 'feel' right'? It's because maybe some thing is not right.
Have you called your docs?

If you are like me, it's often a matter of which one to call first?
It mite also depend on the meds you are on and what they mite do to you... Go down to the 'medications forum' and see what Mrs D or others mite have to say about the meds you're on. And, there are other forums here that mite feel like places where you'd be comfortable to read and learn? Then hopefully post.

Most folks here, for me and others,..have been kind helpful and super supportive in getting you the INFO you need to learn about what you need to deal with what all that's gone on. As you're guessing? None of us have come here by a 'simple' route! Do NOT b e afraid to ask questions and get help. We aren't doctors? But we are patients! And we've learned LOTS about 'being patients' over the years.

So? Don't be shy! 's !!!!!!!!!!! - j

Hi dahlek

I know its going to take awhile to get better. I just get so stressed feeling so bad some days. I guess thats why I get so depressed.

I see the my dr on May 4th. I went in April 6th and had my staples taken out.

I have not called my dr because I have read stories that sometimes this is part of the healing process.

I had a clipping and I guess it does strange things to you to have your head cut open. It may have alot to do with your emotins.

Did you have aneurysm surgery? Thanks so much it just helps to talk to someone.

Hi Darlene

Im glad I found this website. I wished I had found it sooner. I found out in Dec. 2010 I had the aneurysm and was just going out of my mind til I decided what I wanted to do.I know now its helps to just have someone to listen and talk to.

I have a wonderful husband and son that has helped me so much. Its just nice to be able to talk to people who have been what Ive been through and hear there stories.

I dont know alot about how to use this wedsite but I hope to learn and talk to more people and hear there stories. Thanks so much and I hope we can talk soon. It helps to just vent.

Default Yes I understand that 'unknown' factor? BUT?

Go and read up on your procedure and learn as much as you can and then ASK your Neruo QUESTIONS that challenge him! Let him know you aren't a fence post to be surged upon? You are an intelligent person who IS experiencing side effects shown from NIH Mayo Clinic And Hopkins papers that can be found on the web! Truly if the doc is not a total ego trip? He will respect you for the fact that YOU are trying to learn about what you have and will be dealing with!!!
BTW? You've never said when you're going to see the doc for the follow up?
You'd better read up fast and learn faster and get your appt ASAP then start asking questions? Hard ones, and expect answers,...not the 'ubiquitous' 'I'll get back to you'.... Follow up w/phone calls about the 'get backs'? And keep at it!
IT IS YOUR BRAIN! And, this IS a time to be a sqeaky wheel!
God bless you and give you luck to boot! - j 's!!!!!!!!!!!
