Default Chronic pain; looking for hope

Hi,
I have been considering joining a group for a while now. I am hoping that others can offer insight and suggestions as well as support. I also hope that I can be helpful to others.
As I am sure others have said, I am almost hesitant to participate because I feel that all I do lately is complain. My hope is that members of this site are patient and compassionate.
I have joined because I have reached a difficult, dark, and at times unbearable place in my life. I guess I will write more in the Fibromyalgia forum as that is one of the current diagnoses I have; although I have other issues including chronic back pain, a car accident, and spine and neck problems. My pain has changed who I am and who I want to be. This is my attempt to reach out and learn to have hope again.
Thank you.

Welcome aerobeth! You've come to the right place for understanding and support.

Sorry for all you've been through. Its hard to have a sunny disposition when you feel so lousy, I know.

But its also a good idea to be honest when posting (even if its depressing), so you can get some honest feedback from others who may have gone through something similar.

I hope you'll stick around and let us get to know you better. Here's a gentle "feel better" hug for you.
