Default Therapy Dog Needed in MA for Epilepsy Girl

Hi all,

I am a dog walker/pet sitter on Cape Cod, MA. I have my own CAP Therapy Dog and often help others find their own therapy dog depending upon their specified needs. Can anyone help me find a reputable organization in MA area that would be able to help a 9 year old girl with epilepsy find a dog? They already have the money, its just finding the right outfit. Any info ASAP would be most appreciated. Thank you all so much!

Best,
Maria Silva

Hi there Maria:

Here's some great information. I actually spoke to a representative at the CanineAssistants.org. She told me to tell you to have the family call them and they will tell them what is necessary to place a dog for them. They place dogs ALL OVER THE NATION. She also gave me the name of another website for service dogs.

So at least you have a start.

Best of luck

Here are the two websites:

http://www.canineassistants.org/

And the second website is:
http://www.deltasociety.org/Page.aspx?pid=302
When you click on this link, go to the left and click on Service Dogs

Hope I helped.

Anytime hon.

Whatever you need, just post it here, I'll get it in my email box, and I'll try and find out any info for you.

Take care

Hello, and welcome to NT!

You might also suggest:

www.ADIOnline.org That is Assistance Dogs International. They have lists of service/therapy dog organizations by state.

Best of luck.
