Hi everyone,
I've visited this forum before but never posted. I am soon to be 58 years old, married with two school age daughters at home. About 4.5 years ago, I was diagnosed with PD. Although my doctor says I am handling things quite well, I can tell that the disease is progressing. I feel it is imperative, at this point in time, to begin exploring an exit strategy from my employer, Day by day, it seems to be more of a struggle just to make it through the day. I work in outside sales, which probably allows for less scrutiny, but, more and more, I feel like I am being put under the microscope. I fear the day when employer tells me that my services are no longer needed. I wonder about the prospects for continued medical care and at what cost. If there is anyone that can provide some guidance as I begin my search for enhanced quality of life, please share. Perhaps you can direct me to a good resource. It would be appreciated Thanks, mokihana |
