Frown 3 1/2 years dealing with Pseudotumor Cerebri

Hi, My name is Christine. I am a young mother of 3 girls and was diagnosed with Pseudo Tumor Cerebri in Jan. of 2008. Five days after I was diagnosed I had an LP shunt placement done. I was feeling better soon after the surgery and was able to go back to enjoying life. In January of this year my symptoms started to reappear. I was having headaches, dizzy spells and a lump formed on my back at the incision sight of the shunt. After months of the surgeon jerking me around as to what was going on they finally discovered in an x-ray that my shunt was broken. A piece actually came completely off the shunt and the lump on my back was CSF. So on June 8th I went in for surgery to replace the broken LP shunt and have had nothing but problems ever since. I am now dealing with low pressure headaches. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to control low pressure headaches?
