Thank you for the warm welcome!
A little about why I'm here........
My Hubby has been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy.
At the moment we know no more than this, as he is awaiting an appointment with the Neurosurgeon.
He is in so much pain and his feet have been swollen for just over a week!
I have some questions, but I understand that this is not the correct area to ask

I feel a little at my wits end at the moment as I am looking after my Hubby and ever other night I also look after his Mum who has recently had a major stroke and has now been diagnosed with lung cancer :sob:

I suffer from depression, but I do feel well at the moment (thank goodness).

I have three children aged 23, 14 & 12. We have two dogs, three ferrets, a bearded dragon lizard and cold water fish.

I think that is enough for everyone to digest for now
Take good care

Frankly, girlfriend, I'm amazed (& delighted) that you can still put a sentence together, much less have the presence of mind to get yourself here. You are doing just fine. I'm glad Alfee's given you the PN forum link. Here's another for your arsenal, Caregivers' Support:
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...aysprune=&f=56

Please remember, Buttercup, that as caregiver YOU are the center of the action here. YOU must take care of you first. This isn't selfish. It's the thing you must do for them first.

Keep coming back. Keep asking questions. Never forget we are here for you.
