Default Hello :)

Hi everyone, I'm new here.

I started seeing a neuro after having bladder problems for quite a while, and the urologist I was seeing not being able to find a cause. They suspected a neurological cause, I was referred. Still having tests ran at this point, and don't know anything yet. I also have memory problems and poor balance, so it was worth it to see if there was any underlying cause. Brain mri was clean, still waiting on results of spine mri.

Thumbs up Welcome & glad you're here!

Most of us here have been down that road of w-a-i-t-i-n-g (& sometimes it seems unending) for an answer. I am so glad you found this place, because you can at least take some comfort from those with experience--& who made it thru to the other side.

Other wiser folks will be stopping by here soon. Without a diagnosis I don't want to suggest any forums, but they might know which would be appropriate or have some thoughts of what to do in the meantime. There is a search tab above just right of center on the blue bar near the top. You could search for your symptoms & read generally, also check out some of the amazing newsbots available.

Keep coming back, let us know what's going on--both with your diagnosis & just as importantly with your feelings.

Hello and welcome. The waiting is the worst. How long have you had memory problems and poor balance? Did it coincide with your bladder problems? Have you ever sustained a spinal injury? On any medications or have any medical problems?

Confused New with many questions...

I am a NEWBIE...just signed up yesterday...I just found out a few things that my boyfriend was diagnosed with and they are saying he needs a Neurologist now. (From his CT Scan)...What I am getting from the scan is that he has MS..or a possible infection...we are not young kids...51. and to find this out is so over powering....he sees his doctor tomorrow and I hope for some answers...anyone willing to chat would be very appreciated. Email me anytime. I am very in need of support...
Thanks so much

You folks are of course overwhelmed. There's a bunch of information as well as discussions & such at the MS Forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum17.html
Probably best, though, not to add to the flood before your appointment.

Go there, once you've got the test results & preliminary treatment plan, & post again. Introduce yourself, check out posts, ask questions, start a new thread if you can (not sure where on the road to membership that starts).

We'll be here for you when you get back from the doctor. Stay in touch, & if you get to feeling downright scared & think you just can't do this, wel'll understand that too.
