My wife and I recently learned she has a Aracnoid cyst after she had a siezurea and she was run to hospital. As we are on low income state insurance we only get one choice for a doctor who literally is so overbooked it took us a year to see her after the initial tests were done. Once we saw her we explained my wife her problems that we thought were relevant:

Random slurred speech
Occasional disorientation and loss of equilibrium
Sometimes feeling drunk (obviously without drinking)
hand tremors
Migraines
depression
tired and run down feeling

The neurologist (although she seems very compitent in her field) seemed more concerned about the DMV block that was put on my wifes drivers license than these issues. (Which I must admit my wife would love to have removed). My wife was given a drug to prevent the siezures, which it has. It has not however done anything for any of the other issues. (6 months later) When we told the neurologist this, she again seemed more interested in making sure there were no siezures and getting my wifes license back.

Recently, over the course of the last 3 or 4 weeks my wife has become very aggressive. She seems to pick fights with just about everyone and all of our friends can see the difference. I demanded to talk to our neurologist and told her about the incident and she told me that mental disorders are not caused by cysts and that this was in my wifes head.

Perhaps since she is still having all the above listed symptoms she is just for more easily aggitated, but it appears to me that the issues are getting worse, not better.



We have another doctors appointment coming up. I plan to go in guns blazing and demand these other symptoms be considered. However, any advice, information, or just general suggestions would be welcome.
