Default Vancouver BC - Newbie

Just wanted to say hi!

I have recently been diagnosed with MS, but I also suffer from Type 2 diabetes and chronic, clinical depression. Go ME! Haha.

I have questions but I would also like to be around people like myself. I want to learn more about coping skills with these crazy diseases and how sypmtoms overlap, etc.

Thanks for having me!
Tina

Hi and welcome to NeuroTalk, Tina!

I'm so glad you found us. There is a large MS community here that I think you'll enjoy. Here is the link to the MS forum......http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum17.html.

We also have a sub-forum within the MS forum called The Stumble Inn. Here is the link to that.....http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum102.html. The Stumble Inn is sort of a break from the medical tone of the MS forum.

We also have a forum for diabetes. Here it is......http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum53.html

And here is our Depression forum.....http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum37.html

Pull up a chair and make yourself right at home!

Exclamation Hey there, Tina! Go YOU indeed <grin>!

Like you, Tina, I was diagnosed as clinically depressed. At age 8! An early achiever. But, oh wait...oh, well, no. When I was SIXTY-THREE! they decided they'd gotten it wrong. Gosh'n'golly. Sorry 'bout that. You're bipolar! Just a minor adjustment...

So yeah, you just never know which turns around what mountains life's gonna send you. Fasten your seat belts...it's gonna be a bumpy ride (a la Bette Davis).

I can at least promise you that when you come here you can count on people who will never make things worse for you just because they can. & we don't turn on others.

Besides that, you can come here & say anything, ask anything, rant, storm, dance a jig!

Ask questions, visit the forums you've got links to (or any others) & introduce yourself there. Keep coming back.
Keep asking questions.
