Smile I'm in Vancouver B.C. Canada

I'm 64 years old, triplegic (meaning I can only use my left arm and hand) and wheelchair-bound

I've been married and divorced 2 1/2 times -- the last relationship collapses were directly related to my Multiple Sclerosis

I have no family, no friends left, money anymore, not a lot of fun...

I'm generally an upbeat kind of guy... but I'm very very lonely and I sometimes get frightened about what's going to happen to me

I've been planning my final exit more and more lately...

Best wishes for everybody

Richard Long

Please see the posting to you on the other forum. I am sorry for your situation. Please don't give up yet. There are people responding to your post there also. You do have friends. Yes, these disease's can knock us down to levels that nobody should have to endure. It is mighty scary and yes outright lonely. There are people reaching out to you, and as crappy as it gets a lot, there can be help for you and just maybe something will help to ease your situation. Don't give up. A brighter day, hour, minute may be just around the bend. You never know. So go read those posting. OK. I am not near you but I can always be am email buddy and BEST WISHES TO YOU.

Smile Hi, Richard...

It's very good to meet you! I'm sorry you are having such a rough time right now, but I have to second what Gumby said. I know that it's the hardest thing in the world to live with no security and little physical contact, especially when you need both so very much right now. But I do hope you hang in there. You never know when the first day of a better life will begin. Good luck and the very best of wishes to you!

Hi ----I'm new here today, but a 30+ year veteran of the rehab community on the service side. I am an engineer and I've worked with state and fed agencies for most of my work life.

There is a company in Vancouver whose products I've used and recommended. The company is WordLogic. The President's name is Franklin Evansheen. They made a word and phrase prediction software product that is remarkable. This is a great aid to someone who is a one handed or one finger typist.

This is my way of saying Hello and replying to you in Vancouver..
