Default Hello there!

My name is Tracy and I am obviously new to these forums. Stumbled in after looking for answers after a recent MRI and chronic problems with pain and weakness from both centralized and radicular symptoms. Glad you are here and I'll dig right in.

Background. For 2 years now, my GP insisted my problem was fibromyalgia. I will concede to perhaps that MAY be a problem, but through insistence and persistence, finally got an MRI of C-spine, T-spine, and L-spine confirming what I already knew...THERE ARE STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS!!! Sorry about the yelling, but 2 years? Meanwhile I continue to spiral downhill regarding my musculoskeletal health as well as my mental health being only 51 and being unable to function the way I think I should. I have not worked in 2 years. My last employment was that of a medical transcriber, but CTS and back and neck problems forced me to stop working...Oh woe is me.

I hope to meet some people with similar experience.

Heart Believe me, I get the yelling!

Hi, Tracy. Do you have a diagnosis yet? You know there are structural defects, but is there a treatment plan?

I hate it when they don't come up with a diagnosis. I understand your yelling because I recently yelled at my GP, reminding him that when he 1st told me my problems were age I wasn't so old (55). I know there is something wrong with me, but he's never gotten around to figuring out what.

Check out the Spinal Forum. If you have trouble finding it, I'll post a link to it here.

Ask questions, keep coming back, keep asking questions, never give up
