Default New to this!

My wife has hydrocephalus and has recently had a stroke and I am trying to learn from other people who are going through these types of medical conditions.

Welcome

Bless your hearts. That's a lot to go through.

Yes, there's lots of people here.

Here's a link to get started: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum14.html

Here's also a caregivers link:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum56.html

just click on it and create a thread.

You can also use the "SEARCH" feature to find some things.

I know you don't have a lot of time to be on a computer. If you have direct questions to ask, go ahead and post those. Maybe someone will read it and give you their experience or comfort for you and your wife.

Prayers for you both.

Blank Hey, TPC. Welcome to NeuroTalk. Glad you're here!

You're brave & determined, & your wife's lucky to have you out advocating for her. There's lots of good, solid information available here with links to current research etc. If you're also scared & exhausted, this is still a very good place to be. Lots of caregivers here. While fellow sufferers can help with tips to surviving with the dis-ease--also with the mental strain--caregivers (bless their hearts) can help get thru the exhaustion. Even overcome it, maybe! Briefly.

As (Broken Wings) said, you're not going to have lots of computer time. Please, tho, ask questions. Ask all you need to--for the both of you.

I hope your wife is looking through some of the postings & might, sometime, want to post.

My best to you both. Come back here if you have any probs posting or starting a thread. Ask about that stuff too!
