Teeth New and hopeful

Hi I'm new today and hopeful. I have a tarlov cyst causing me a lot of pain and it's getting worse. I'm really confused. Most doctors say surgery is universally a failure. A neurosurgeon a Loma Linda a very well know university medical center told me that yesterday.

You probably already know all the terrible bowel and nerve pain that comes with a sacral cyst. I've been referrered by the Tarlov Cyst Foundation to a couple of doctors. Are all the surgeries really failures?
