I am a new member and am hoping to get information and support, I was involved in a car accident 2 years ago were I was rear ended and driven into a brick wall, I was wearing a seat belt so I did not hit my head but ended up with major back pain, took me a year to get an MRI (LONG STORY)was sent to 6 weeks of PT based on x-ray which helped some, went back to work doing office work, finally got MRI which shows spondylosis at c5-6 disc bulging narowing at c6-7 etc...I have been in and out of PT and have recieved 2 series of 4 shots in my back which help some...But here is my question: I have told every doctor I talk to that when I sleep at night I wake up because my hands go to sleep, but on the oppisite side I am sleeping on, so if I am sleeping on my right side my left hand which is not resticted gos nubm and hurts ! so I turn over and the same thing happens, they say there is nothing else they can do but continue with the shots and I shouldn't be in this much pain according to the MRI and EMG reports my sister told me about TOS which explain alot to me, which is not in any of my reports... how do I find a doctor that will take this seriously !

The same thing was happening to my hands prior to cervical spine surgery two weeks ago. I think it's called "neuropathy." Maybe you can get another opinion? Have you seen a Neurosurgeon yet?
