Hi all,

I am from the Netherlands and a malabsorption issue has caused aggressive neuropathy thanks to a severe B1 deficiency. The doctors assure me they caught it in time and it will heal in 6-8 weeks but in the meantime I cannot sleep more than two hours, currently my feet are immersed in a cold foot bath and they burn intensely as well as tingle and 'shock me'. I am pretty down because my calf muscles have completely atrophied and I had strong legs!

I understand a lot of people here are stuck with this condition permanently and having lived through it for five weeks I can only empathise, I hope I don't annoy anybody with this post.

I was wondering if anybody else experienced neuropathy from a vitamin deficiency and if it was cured?

Indeed you've found a great place! The peripheral neuropathy forum is one of the most active and full of great info.
Towards the top of the page over there you will see a section called 'PN supplements, tips, etc'.....it is loaded.
Down below that is the section where the active posting goes on. You'll find many caring people there ready to help.
