Confused Concussion after a month

I am 18 and i attend USC Upstate and I'm majoring in Business. About a month ago i was playing football with my friends and i got kneed in the head. i don't remember anything. but from what my friends tell me i blacked out for a second, then a few minutes later i was telling them how i didn't know where i was or what i was doing or anything. I went to the hospital and spent the night and they said i had a concussion. The next couple of week i had horrible memory loss and i went back to the hospital. they said my neck and shoulder muscles were so tense it was cutting the circulation of blood to my head off. so they gave me muscle relaxers and the memory and concentration started to ease back, but i still get plenty of head aches and my back is always hurting. now about three weeks after i started feeling almost normal, I'm having the symptoms again. right now, its not as bad, but it seems to be getting worse. i feel like everything that happens, actually happened a year ago, but in reality, it happened one hour ago... and i about two days ago i started jogging for the first time since my injury and my legs felt like they were going to explode. and my back felt like it was punching together and i got an immediate head ache. i went home and layer down and after i caught my breath and calmed down, my legs felt asleep and my limbs felt numb. at the time i didn't think about it. then the next morning i realized something is wrong. i have an appointment at the chiropractor today at 330, to see if i received a back injury. but for now I'm just praying its nothing permanent. Ive had a lot of stress since the concussion, plenty of important tests where i couldn't concentrate, and a lot of family issues and i went to an NFL football game. Maybe its just the stress level i have? Im not sure, id just really appreciate some feed back on what my condition may be. Thanks!

You definitely need to get checked out again. I have sustained about 4 concussions in a years time and the one I received last year is still having effects on me. Since you're in school your doctors may be able to give you extensions on classwork, tests, etc from your concussion. Good luck.

Thanks! I went to the chiro and he said it definitely wasn't my back. So I'm making a neurologist appointment in the morning. Goodluck to you also!
