Hi, I'm a newby with horrible nerve pain in my feet and hands from chemotherapy. It's also worsen if my sugar levels go up. I'm on 300 mg of Neurontin 3x/day, however it's caused my sugar levels which I got down to normal range with diet and exercise to go up. My A1c went from 5.4 to 6.9 in 3 months on the drug. I have found the Neurogen gel to really help as well as 600 mgs of Alpha-Lipoic Acid with L-Carnitene.

has anyone tried the cream version of Neurogen's products? Just wondering. I had no idea what pain was like until I had this. It's awful! Any helpful suggestions will be gladly received. Also, is there any hope of curing this?

I am also taking b-12 and b6, but sometimes nothing seems to work. it kicks in mostly at night when trying to sleep.

I'm afraid there's no "cure" for this. I also have neuropathy, from a spinal problem. My doctor has me on Topamax, and it works BETTER than Neurontin did for me. Neurontin made me loopy, plus it made my feet and legs swell terribly. Toopamax doesn't do that to me. Plus the Topamax takes away ALL the tingling, burning, etc. And I only have to take 400mg per day!!! Maybe it would work better for you too. It's worth a try anyway.

I sure wish there was a cure for neuropathy too. It's more important for YOU since you're a diabetic, but there are alot of us out here that would love a cure. LOL
