I had a Medtronic device implante last Summer and immediately noticed pelvic pain that was not present prior to the implant. It has progessively gotten worse over the months and have used the creams and physical theropy and numerous doctor visits and adjustments by Medtronic rep with no results. I am now still taking the physical theropy and am virtually bed ridden due to the pain being so severe that I can only set up for a very few minutes. Am i the only one with this problem?

Welcome to NT!
![]() I'm so sorry you are having these troubles. ![]() This sounds very serious. Have you been under a Dr's care for this, especially the one who implanted your unit? It seems only right that s/he should own up to these complications you are having. You've come to a great place for support. People here are very caring and easy to 'talk' to. We have a forum here specific to SCS discussion. Here's the shortcut link to get you there: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...ysprune=&f=118 Lots of caring people over there who have been through many ups and downs as they try to manage their pain. What type of pain is your unit meant to cover? There are forums here for all types of pain. Feel free to jump in anywhere you'd like. I hope you can get some relief very soon. It's great to have you! Hi ~ It sure sounds to me like either the leads have moved, or you need another adjustment in the stimulation. I had the stimulator for 6 months (it had to be removed) and I had MANY adjustments. The MedTronic Rep had to come to do the adjustments. It almost sounds like you're not getting stimulation in the proper places.
Talk to your doctor again. Make sure he understands what's going on!!! You need help ASAP!!! Best of luck & God bless. Hugs, Lee
