Default I am new and excited about meeting others

Hello everyone,

My name is Steve and I am married with 3 children and 1 grandchild. I recently stopped working due to my illness and in the waiting period for disability. I have been dealing with nerve pain for about 3 years now. It started in my left arm with ulnar nerve being damaged for unknown reason. I then started to have pain on my right ulnar nerve. Within a short time, I began having issues with a throbbing pain going to my brain and making me dizzy. Within a month, i began having burning pain, numness and sharp pain in both of my legs. I have tried many therapies, and multiple surgeries and procedures throughout the past three years. I am now treated at my local hospital for pain management. I am excited to speak to people that can relate to what I am dealing with. Thanks for reading this and I hope to meet some new people.

Smile Hello Steve!

Welcome to NT!

It's nice to meet you! You've come to a wonderful place full of support and understanding. Indeed there are many people here who can relate to what you describe. I invite you to check out the Peripheral Neuropathy forum. It is very informative and you'll soon see that you are not alone in this. Be sure to check out the top section of the PN forum when you get there. You'll get good insight into what neuropathy is all about. Here is the shortcut link to get you there:

This is a very down-to-earth place, so make yourself right at home. Holler if you have any questions or need help in finding your way around.

It's great to have you!

Rae
