Hello, there,
I've got my depression under control with Welbutrin, but a friend just kind of freaked out this week, her meds stopped working, and she's going into the hospital for 8 hours a day for 3 weeks. I've never heard of any such thing, going to a hospital for depression for so long (it makes me wonder if there's suicidal thoughts, or even actions). Anyway, it's just got me a little scared, so I wanted to check in here, it's nice to have some support. Take care. |

Welcome to NT!
![]() I too have been on Wellbutrin (15 yrs!) It seems to keep from spiking moods and bouts of depression. There have been a few times that I was tempted to add Abilify, thinking the Wellbutrin wasn't enuf, but haven't acted on it. I hope things turn out well for your friend. Feel free to visit our Depression Forum. Maybe I'll see you over there! Great to have you! Rae ![]() |

Hi Rrae -- I added Abilify to my antidepressant, and it worked GREAT!!! I took it for quite awhile, but unfortunately after awhile it caused my legs & feet to swell -- so my doc took me off of it.
