I certainly don't understand your surgeon AT ALL. I would think he would WANT to do more surgery -- that's what surgeons DO.
![]() I don't know if this surgery is involved or not -- I don't know that much about "fixing" bone spurs on a fused area. If it's a very 'involved' surgery perhaps he's looking at it as it's not worth the risk. I really don't know. I wouldn't think it would be that bad, but again I just don't know. Can you get the recommendation from the neurologist and take it to the neurosurgeon and have a talk with him?? Discuss what the neurologist said about the fact that you NEED the surgery. Personally, I would avoid surgery at all costs if i could -- it only causes more & more surgery on down the line most of the time. ![]() Best of luck & let us know what happens. God bless. Hugs Lee
