Hi everybody
I am new here having registered today.
Has anybody got the symptoms above? I was diagnosed with PN 2 years ago but MRI's are normal apparently! but I don't feel normal and my feet drive me crazy sometimes.

Welcome to NeuroTalk.

We have a PN forum and a subforum with lots of information on it. MRI's of the spine are only one tool, and only show spinal compressions. There are over 100 causes of PN.

One thing I use for burning painful feet is Biofreeze. You can get it easily now at Amazon or at iherb.com

It used to be only available thru physical therapists and chiropractors. But now anyone can get it easily. It is cooling and stops much of the discomfort for several hours.

You can also get it on eBay. I do not use it on my feet as I, personally, can't stand it. It makes my feet feel worse. I use it on my calves and my lower back when needed and it works great for that.

Unhappy Bio freeze for PN

Thank you so much for the replies, it's nice to know there are people out there that understand. I have tried Bio freeze on my feet as my wife uses it on her bad back. It helps her, but it irritates my feet more than ever, so by what you say, either it helps or it makes it worse.

I am on Gabapentin 300mg three times a day and it takes the edge off it but not much more. Walking is uncomfortable and my feet are often numb when I get out of bed at night and in the morning. The tingling can be dreadful. My GP has more or less said just live with it - alright for him to say!

Tiddles.
