I have been doing some reading online about my PCS. Near drowning accidents were mentioned as a complication and other injuries also my play a factor in the recovery.
When I was three I jumped in the deep end of a pool. Don't know how long I was under, but my dad saved me. Then when I was five, my grandma's idea of discipline was to band heads together. This happened one time. She grabbed my hair and the other kids hair and wham! banged us together. I am now 45--are these incidents I should mention to my doctor? Thank you! P.S. It took me 45 minutes to remember how to post a thread |

lattesrus,
If I was in your place I would tell your doctor. That information will assist him in his treatment for you. I myself , was around the age of 18 months, fell over sitting on my parents bed causing a scar on the back of my head which cause a scar on my brain. It was not until years later I was having seizures. So telling your doctor would be very important for your back ground. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Darlene ![]()
