Hey

sorry to hear about your bad back. Back pain is miserable pain. We do understand.

You have already been given some great advice.

Repetitive stress injuries, like you're describing, can be work related.

I didn't catch what exactly you're lifting on a daily basis.

Your history, weight, lifestyle (smoking, drinking, poor health, diet, lack of exercise (job not exercise), family hertiage can catch up with us. It's all part of our individual makeup.

I have tried so many things for back pain. I hate to tell you, not much helped. It's hard to find the right thing.

Yoga, Lidoderm 5% patches (non narcotic), stop smoking, exercise, PT, aqua therapy, Kinesio Tape, TheraCane, Miracle Balls, proper lifting techniquest, inversion table (be careful with that one at home), ThermaCare (from K-Mart or Wally World), BenGay, ice packs (at times, properly applied), oversized tennis balls (you may find big balls at a pet shop and golf balls have worked for some people) LED and infrared light therapy pads, muscle relaxers, so many things. Some other things I've forgotten. I would try about anything.

It's hard to find the right that works for you. Work is not going to be easy, with back pain. You will have to wait for the neuro to guide you.

Keep us posted.

Take care...

oh. Inhale water. Activa Yogurt helps if you're taking muscle relaxers so you don't have to strain.
