Default CRPS from cubital / carpal surgery

Hi all
I've been reading the forum for several months now, and thought I might join in. I had a very successful left arm cubital / carpal surgery, but the right arm (with a different surgeon) has turned into a struggle to get right again. Its been 4 months since the surgery. The anesthesiologist got a little too ambitious with the nerve block.

Recently I have been diagnosed with CRPS and am seeing a pain management doc for shooting, aching, the gamut in my right arm. I am still seeing the surgeon, workers comp doc, and physiotherapist - they all have become deeply embedded in my recovery. But my arm is still out of normal use and is still swollen.

Last week the physio took my pulse in each arm and had remarked differences. I still have numbness, causalgia, shooting nerves and aching. Her and another doc were really worried about the symptoms and diagnosed me with Compartment Syndrome and Double Crush Syndrome.

NOW I AM REALLY WORRIED!! So I just thought I would join in. Thanks!

Welcome to Neurotalk. We are glad you are here. Sorry to hear about the problems you have been having.

Crps is a monster in itself, I hope after 4 months you don't have compartment syndrome as well.

Feel free to join in to the forums and ask questions, rant, rave, or just participate. We are all friends here and we learn about our issues from each other.
