Angry rsd in rt wrist

this is my 1st letter and being i cannot use my right wrist, this is a challenge! after breaking it falling upstairs, i went to the er and said i broke it twice, the ulna and radius, they just put a splint on and referred me to an ortho, he told me it was only broke in one place, i argued with him and asked him to look at the cd, he refused, and proceeded to take his xray, {more money) my wrist was so inflammed but they still put a cast on it. its been hurting since the breaks, june 29th. anyhow i now i have rsd and need sugery since the bones have not melded together. i am so scared after reading all your posts and seeing the pictures, my heart goes out to each and everyone of you, i cant imagine how yous all, especially the feet and knees deal with this? i mean at least i can keep my wrist up in my lap so i can avoid it from turning purple. i feel very hopeless. we were traveling the usa in our 5th wheel trailor to find warmer climate and are stuck in branson missouri, (misery) from minnesota. the hospital here has postings inside and outside stating they do not prescribe narcotics! skaggs hosp. can u believe this?! they sent me to a primary for meds and all he did was go on and on about his dea number and spoke about obama and afhghaniston and the people and transients that try to score drugs, he said he'd write some scripts once and referred me to pain management, he doesnt care. im believing i should have stayed in mn. now where i had a great dr for over 10 years. well thanks for listening and let me vent. i look forward to getting in the chatrm. peace

I'm Right here with you. If you have rsd, truly have it, surgery will make it so much worse. I also broke my r hand and went thru 6 months of he said she said from "doctors" then finally found a good one. There is an rsd board where folks can cover many of the questions you are looking for and can vent along side. Take care and best wishes.
