Default Horrid insomnia

I've had chronic insomnia since 1995 from my head injury. I have been on multiple medications. The only problem is I would eventually become tolerant to them and I would have to find another drug. Well about a month ago, I ran out of options. I tried melatonin and Unisom with little success.

I'm on my fourth day of no sleep. I've gone 10 days before with no sleep I can still function but I am not tired. I just stay awake and awake. I suppose I could lay in bed and try to sleep but first I'm not tired and second it gives me too much time to think about the problems in my life so then I really can't sleep.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
