That doctor was totally remiss in "taking care" of you!! He should have given you something to either help you wean off or to keep you from withdrawing. I don't call him much of a pain doctor!
Can you go to your regular doctor and tell him what happened? He might be able to help you and keep you from having to go into withdrawals until you can see another doctor. It's worth a try. I wish you the very best. It's a horrible position to be in, but I've been there before, and it's miserable. God bless and please take care. Hugs, Lee
