Default Hi from Edinburgh.

Hi - I am a 38 year old mental health nurse who at present is suffering from chronic daily headaches.

Hope to find out more about the condition here as my gp is useless!

Hi Woody ---about 10 yrs ago i had daily headaches for several years. My G.P said I think there rebound headaches --from taking 2 much advil. Since I was getting them for several years prior. She told me I dont care how bad the headaches get no advil for 10days. Trust me that week was hellish but it worked----I do get headaches and I take advil when i do but there not nearly as often. Not sure how long this been going on for you but I thought I share my experience. Best wishes --also another thought have you had vision tested??

Default Hello Woody

Welcome to Neuro Talk. My neighbor just finished two weeks in a hospital learning bio feedback. Her headaches are over 8 years, and she was on fentanal. It is amazing what this did for her. Her pain has been reduced from an 8 to a 3, in just a few weeks. Detox went well, and she has hope that this type of therapy continues to help. Just an idea, as I know from my neighbors experience how bad those headaches can be. Again welcome, and we will be here to support you. ginnie
