my name is maralea, 45, female. just found out have foraminal stenosis and was sent home by good friends at work as I could no longer sit with any comfort at computer. just wanting to get some info about progression and surgery= some say yes to surgery and some say no... just want to get back to running and working and enjoying the days, most pain in left upper back down arm and numb hand at times... and ringing in ears almost constant.

Hello and welcome to Neuro Talk! I have had many surgeries to correct all the problems with my back. My last surgery the doc got rid of my spinal stenosis. I'm so amazed about how great I feel! Has your doctor given you any options. Sorry you are having such a hard time. We do have a forum that you should visit that help you some answers. I've put the link below...
