Smile Hello! Can Anyone Help with Aspartame...?

Hi everyone.

For the past 11 months I have had a vision problem no doctor is able to diagnose - blurry vision in one eye with a "dark spot" in the middle, kind of like those science plasma balls with the lighting bolts in the miiddle.

I'm fairly convinced that this is related to aspartame - I went through a crazy craving phase over the summer of 2012 where I was drinking Diet Coke by the gallon - I never really drank stuff like that before. Then September 2012, this problem popped up. No clue as to what it is or how to fix it

Any advice or if someone could point me to the right forum, would be much appreciated - thanks in advance!
