I'm davl45. I've had 2 back surgeries, and I'm looking at my third coming up. I was just looking for some info on different things that can be done, and came across this site. I thought that it might help, talking to other people that understand what i'm going through. Bad thing about back problems is other people can't see something wrong, like a broken arm, etc. It might help to talk to someone who knows what it is like to hurt 24/7. I have to go for the moment. I can only sit or stand for just a few minutes.

Welcome, davl45! I can definitely sympathize with your comment about others not understanding your condition. I'm got myasthenia gravis, the autoimmune disease that causes extreme muscle weakness, and for sure no one can "see" that your muscles are tired or weak.
![]() There's also the chronic pain forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=10 Feel free to post, read, comment, question, whatever. Hope to read more of your posts. Hugs,
