Hi my name is lamblite and I'm glad to join this site. I have just been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, and a not sure what to expect in the near future. I've also got M.E. which makes my working life a bit difficult. Does anyone know how fast the neuropathy gets worse.

Thanks

Default Hello Lamblite

Welcome to Neuro Talk. You will find many of us that have PN. I want you to know that there are treatments that really do help. It also can get better and not get worse.
Lidoderm patches, compounds, suppliments, all help to control it. If your doctor is up to snuff, he will prescribe something to help take the edge off. Let us know what your doctor has tried to do so far. ginnie

Welcome. Scroll down to the "Peripheral Neuropathy" site. You should get lots of responses there. What type of PN do you have?

Default Hi from Georgia :)

I'm fairly new here too but have received much help and advise from the good people on the PN site. One size DOES NOT fit all in the PN area. Mine is diebetic/chemo related and has gone from 0 to 100 since the first week of May 2013. Exactly a month after my 6 rounds of chemo (taxol/carbo) ended.

I'll be 'seeing' you in the PN community !

Read through the threads and you will find quite a lot of answers to questions you have.

Glad to have you

Debi

Gosh it is such a pretty morning in Georgia !
