I have just started having issues. I hsve 3 levels of degeneration bin my neck with some stenosis. I started hsving mild headaches sround eyes about 10 months ago thoughtbit was sinus problems. Pain in neck increased causing pain in trigger points in back this caused pounding headaches I went to spine center and was told I didn't need surgery. I started seeing a pain msmagement foctor there. He right off wanted to do injections. I opted for pt and meds. Baclofen and ascetophen w/codine. Did finally do c7/l1 inject short term relief.
I continued with pounding headaches and unbalanced feeling. Best way to describe it was I felt drunk.
I have recently started with sharp pulsing pain just below left big toe.left foot would feel heavy, burn st night and tingle then right foot started. Now I have feeling like bugs crawling under my skin around and under my chin at times Pain doc said find neurologist.
2 MRI's of brain and neck showed no tumors or lesions. CT scsn also showed clear. First neurologist was no help said he found nothing wrong.

Hi. Welcome. Sounds like you have some neuropathy going on. We have an excellent peripheral neuropathy forum here. What do you mean that you have little support. Does no one believe you?

Default Welcome doubleeagle15

You've come to the right place for information, help and support.

I'm fairly new here and to the small fiber neuropathy I've been diagnosed with thru skin punch biopsy of my ankle. It effects my feet and my hands (feet are much worse than hands).

My feet tingle, burn and I have horrible electrical currents running through them. My big toes are the worst. Sometimes I just have to stop and hold my toe until it stops !

I'm sure you will be hearing from some of the others here with much more experience than I have. I've just been upped from 1800 mg/day to 2700 mg/day. It will take me 6 weeks to get to that amount.

Take care and keep us posted.

Default apology

I probably looked like biggest boob ever having my post "scared" on here 3 times. I am using my phone and guess I goofed big time.
I am wondering if my intestinal bypass operation for weight loss could be underlying factor.
I was low on D3 and in the past had very low potassium levels 3 times.
Currently potassium and magnesium levels are good.
Wondering if anyone had intestinal bypass for weight loss and then had problems. This type surgery not done any more I believe.

Mel.
She is sweet in her own way but still acts like a little girl in many ways. She is 13 years younger. It's easier to shut down. A lot of it maybe I am homesick I miss Georgia I lived there for 42 years then got jerked up I think she thinks that is my problem mostly
