Thumbs up Hey Everyone

I just found this forum, and I am looking for answers to an issue I have been dealing with for many years. After tearing/pulling what I believe to be my left rhomboid muscle, I had so much pain that I could not sleep for 3 days. After recovering from my injury I resumed my workouts in the gym. I quickly discovered that could not even bench press the 45 lb bar alone due to extreme left side weakness. Prior to my injury I was bench pressing 315 lbs for reps. Anyway, I slowly worked my strength back up, but I continued to have left side weakness. I have significant weakness and atrophy in my brachioradialis and tricept, as well as my deltoids. My brachioradialis is actually indented (gone). Hopefully I can get some answers to this issue. I have been to physical therapists and even my gp, but I have yet to receive an answer as to how to resolve my issues. From my own research, I found out that I may have nerve impingement at c6. I look forward to participating on this forum.

Hi there Welcome

My name is Melody and I wanted to extend a warm welcome to Neurotalk. Very impressive lifting you have been doing.

I'm sure someone will come along and direct you to the proper forum. As you probably know we have MANY.

So Happy New Year, best of luck.

Sincerely,

Melody
