I love the GA mountains ! We can get to Helen in 2 hrs 15 min but my favorite places are up around Blairsville. My favorite waterfall is Anna Ruby Falls outside of Helen. We're between Columbus and Atl.......on the AL line.
My daughter and I use to take day trips up there all the time but I am unable to do that anymore with my SFN. I've just started my journey with this condition so I hope sometime in the future I'll be doing day trips again !
You've been getting some snow up your way haven't you ?
