New member here, stumbled across this site. Have been having some major issues since July of last year. I'm not sure where to start without having long explanations. I can tell you that I had an MRI on my brain back in August as well as a CT scan which were perfectly normal. There was only an incidental finding which said:

"In the cavernous sinus on the left there is a partially fatty lesion with some surrounding cystic component which demonstrates a punctate central calcification. This may represent a small dermoid. It is fairly well defined. Six month follow up MRI with attention to the left cavernous sinus is recommended. Obtaining a fat-suppressed image is also recommended. If the patient has clinical symptoms shorter-term followup is recommended. This would include cranial neuropathies of the III, IV and VIth nerves. I do not believe that this impinges upon nerve V in Meckel's Cave directly"

I've asked an ENT, Doctor and neurologist about it and they said it was normal. My current symptoms are as follows (symptoms I have not had for 36 years of my life):

-Suddenly afraid of heights

-Feel like I'm going to fall backwards going UP escalators

-In movie theaters or stadiums, I can't sit ANYWHERE. Even in some certain chairs. I feel like I'm going to panic and like I'm going to black and fall over (in bar chairs too). The last time I went to a stadium, I left because I felt like something was going to push me forward from behind (we were very high in normal seats I have always been in for the past 5 years for every week). I have not been back to a large venue like this since.

-Loss of weight (all tests for cancers that I have done, have been negative). Weight loss was mainly in legs, which always used to be big and muscular.

-Slight tinnitus in right ear (very faint, only heard when it's quiet)

Some of my past diagnosis and issues I've had the past 6-7 months when this all started:
-A bloody nose when this started with a feeling like I was going to pass out
-Had a neck/upper back issue which I went to PT for
-Had allergy testing done
-Had to get a crown put on a tooth (dental work)
-Issues started to happen after all of this, main symptom started during PT
-Doctor's found Hep B in me but assured me it was not causing this symptom and it was a mild case I had
-Neurologist said it was a Vestibular dysfunction
-ENT said it was an inner ear issue and later told me it was Meniere's because of the ringing in ear. Ringing in right ear started 2-3 months after the initial symptoms started so I doubt it was this (plus, the room has never spun on me so there was no vertigo)
-Low Vitamin D and Low testosterone

I'm unsure what to do at this point. The symptom is still there and VERY debilitating on life in general and things I enjoyed, I can't do now. Would the issue in my sinus with the lesion cause something like this? Should I get it removed? I'm very confused by what is causing this and nobody can give me a real answer.
Hi there. My name is Melody and I wanted to welcome you.

I'm so sorry I can't be of more help. Believe me, one of our more knowledgeable members will come along and look at what you wrote and they'll give you great input.

We have a lot of great members here. I really wish I could have looked at all your symptoms and my brain would go: Aha, I know what's wrong with this person.

But alas, that's not me. But we have lots of people on here who, while they can't diagnose you per se, they can give you all their expertise and tell you if you need further testing and in what area.

Just sit tight.

Again, welcome

Melody
