Default Any people with concussions out there?

Hi, I am hoping to find out if any of you have received osteopathic treatment for your post concussion symptoms and what your experience was/is. I have an appointment booked for two weeks from now and am hoping this will help me more with pressure in my head, motion sickness when riding in a car, etc.

Default Newbie here!

Hi,

Just wanted to get encouragement on this forum for a concussion I am suffering from due to a fall last October.

What do treatments do you seek out? How do you deal with boredom . . . I find it stressful not to be doing anything when I see so much that needs to be done . . .

I understand where you're at with this. I was in a car accident on Jan 5 and have Post Concussion Syndrome. I'm currently in therapy and seeing a neuropsychologist that specializes in PCS. I haven't tried much, just rest and cognitive rest. I try to limit my time on tv, computer, smartphone, tablet, etc because my brain has to work very hard to see correctly, especially because my vision is severely distorted a lot of the time. I do wish you the best, if I come across any treatments that work well for me, I'll be sure to pass along the info.
