A little over 7-Months ago, I was sitting in my office at home. Supposedly my Daughter came home from Cheer-leading practice and I was unconscious on the floor. I woke several days later in ICU with tubes everywhere, but i still don't remember it. Brain Biopsy's, Mayo Clinic, Several Hospitals, Blah, Blah, Blah it was determined that I had Limbic Encephalitis due to a rare infection of Voltage-Gated Potassium Channel Antibodies.

After several month at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, I was released to a rehab facility where I'm almost whole again. The problem is, that over the past few days, I get a momentary rush of vertigo and only happens once or twice a day. I don't remember the 16-Grand Mal Seizures, So I don't know if this can be a precursor of more seizures. I don't want to live through that hell again and I certainly don't want my Family to go through it.

Any advice?

Click on the following forum there you will find some great fellow members to help you out. You sure have been through a lot. THe same hospital you were I was there a little over 4 years and had brain surgery, I too have epilepsy, sense the surgery I have not had a seizure.
