Hi Helena,
Welcome to the forum....I think many of us arrived here with pain and fear, so you are not alone. I am not saying this is your problem but, it was mine. I kept going to my dentist with what I thought were toothaches and certain my pain was bad enough to need extractions, etc. Luckily my dentist was educated enough to realize it was nerve pain from Lyme Disease that was causing my toothaches. Despite the fact that my pain seemed to be very specific to only one or two teeth, he was correct. I know of people who have also had a lot of dental work done and it turned out to be Lyme Disease that was causing their dental pain. Again, I don't want to alarm you and I don't know the details of your dental pain but it is one possible answer for no relief from pain after having dental work. I had a very long history of Lyme Disease so my dentist suggested I go back to my Lyme doc for more treatment and medications for neuropathy were added. I wish you the best in finding answers to your dental pain. Diandra Quote:
