Default Hello

Two years ago July 2012 I had a stroke on my right temporal lobe. I now have simple partial, complex partial and generalized seizures pretty regularly as a result. I have been on almost all AED's. Most even before the seizures as I had used some as mood stabalizers for Bipolar 1 years before. The fact that my stroke and seizures are in my right temporal lobe where your emotions stem from and I have bipolar 1 has not been easy but I'm making it. I was only 48 when this occurred. Now I have been diagnosed with peripheral nueorpathy too. My nuero said he did not see another stroke that had caused leg and foot numbness on my MRI from when I was in the hospital in April for postical-psychosis (due to 7 back to back seizures). So I just had another MRI with and without contrast done 2 weeks ago of my lumbar and will see him again Nov. 6th. My GP is pushing to get the results from him sooner though she said when I saw her last week. My GP also started test for Lupus on me as I have lots of symptoms and my mother, who just died 3 months ago had it. I had shingles 2 months before my stroke also and thyroid cancer right after. The last 2 years have been HORRIBLE.

Anyway I am hoping things start looking up in 2015 and am glad to have stumbled upon this group for support. I have done some reading already and you all seem very helpful to each other.
