Confused New member post

Hi all, I am a woman and just turned 60. Have been super healthy all my life but have not had a particular healthy diet. Last May that changed and I started a vegan diet. Still eat some fish and drink wine regularly. Also started juicing. In July I got sick and had a stomach issue where I had acid come up to my throat. I developed a sore throat. Had a few tests. Then shortly after broke my arm. A month later still had the sore throat. ENT visits, throat scope, MRI and prescribed Prilosec. Suspected LPR. Then Endoscopy revealed redness and swelling consistent with acid reflux. Back on Prilosec max dose (3 20 mgs morning and evening). I still have a lump in my throat feeling that never goes away. Having all kinds of reactions to the meds.

Long story short I was researching and found this site. I am depressed and need support. Thought I might find that here.

Sorry for the long intro. Would love to hear from you all and anyone who suffers or is cured from LPR.
