Default Scared newbie

Hello,
What an awesome post. So I have had some neuro issues for the past while numbness in my arm hypereflexia onu right side only Along with severe ankle clonus on right side only. Ct was normal but unable to do MRI due to the fact I have a pacemaker for congenital heart issue. I am 34 and scared out of my tree. I also had a fainting spell and my left eye seems like I am looking through a dirty window. He drs suspect ms but can't say due to lack of MRI I was started on I. Solumedrol and the vision is back but the hypereflexia and clonus remain. Any one give any hints if this could be anything but ms. Scares me as I have 2 young very active girls and I would like to get back to playing with them
Thanks all for listening
Chris

Hi Chris,
Just wanted to say - Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups!

I'm sorry you're scared and going through such a difficult time.

Here is the link to the Multiple Sclerosis Forum

The members there may be able to offer you some advice about your testing and symptoms and also about the Solumedrol.

There's also a great Forum Search feature at the top of every page here. If you type in particular keywords you may find posts from others who have experienced similar symptoms.

Post back here if you have any questions about navigating the forums and someone is sure to help you out.

Welcome Chris! I'm just as nervous and afraid as you. I have BPPV (vertigo) and that is coupled with panic/anxiety disorder which makes everything worse. Hopefully I can help you with at least your fear.

Take Care!
